To Whom It May Concern,
Hi, my name is (your name), and I am presently attending Bret Harte High School. This is my (list year) year participating in FFA, as a (grade level in school). I am currently involved in the Bret Harte FFA sheep co-op and my project is raising one market lamb. As a (year in school) to the school, I was introduced to FFA by (how your were recruited; sibling, 8th grade day, etc.). I have taken a lot of pride in doing this project, and I know for sure that I will also be doing it next year. Without the time and thought that you, the buyers, have put into our fair, it would not be as alive as it is today. From this project, I have learned responsibility and knowledge about raising a market lamb. I have been responsible for making sure the animal is well taken care of, including food, shelter, and training. I gain my knowledge, by learning the details of getting my lamb ready to show along with preparing myself for showmanship.
My lamb, (name of animal), is a (breed and gender of animal) lamb. He is a very loving, exciting lamb. He eats lamb slam which has all the qualities to produce meat for you and your family. He will make a great market lamb because he is long bodied, therefore if you bought him you would have more cuts. For instance, he is also bold in his spring of rib, which will have you with thicker loin cuts. He is a great quality market lamb that would make a great addition to your freezer and is perfect for any holiday!
I am inviting you to the come out to the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee to see all the hard working participates for this year's fair. Show day is May (day) and auction day is May (day). The morning will begin with a buyers breakfast and registration at 7:00 a.m. and the auction will start at 9:00 a.m. I would appreciate it if you were to come out and see all the animals that are involved. If you have any questions, about the times for any animal, please, call the fair at (209)736-2561.

To Whom It May Concern,
Hi, my name is (your name), and I am presently attending Bret Harte High School. This is my (list year) year participating in FFA, as a (grade level in school). I am currently involved in the Bret Harte FFA rabbit co-op and my project is raising market rabbits. From this project, I have learned responsibility and knowledge about raising meat rabbits. The Rabbit Co-Op is a 365 day animal project consisting of approximately 35 females and 10 males housed on our high school campus. Along with my fellow Co-Op members we are responsible for making sure the animals of our rabbitree are well taken care of, which includes daily feedings and barn cleanings. The knowledge we gain is tremendous and this project requires a lot of dedication and hard work all year long.
Every year we breed and kindle rabbits to show at the County Fair. As a member I am helping to select animals to breed, checking on kindling dates and maintaining sanitary conditions in our barn at all times. Once the rabbits are weaned, our Co-Op members are allowed to select rabbits to show at fair. We pride ourselves in growing a quality product that is wholesome for our consumers. Many people do not realize that Rabbit meat is a very lean, healthy product. We would be honored if you would consider supporting us at the Junior Livestock Auction on (date of auction) by purchasing one of our animals. As a buyer you have the option of buying the animal or keeping the animal live and donating it back to our FFA chapter for future breeding projects.
We would greatly appreciate any support you can offer for this year long project. The Rabbit Show day is May (day) and Junior Livestock Auction day is May (day). The morning will begin with a buyers breakfast and registration at 7:00 a.m. and the auction will start at 9:00 a.m. I would appreciate it if you were to come out and see all the animals that are involved.
